When I was a kid I was prescripted optical glasses to fight my constant headaches. Some months later the migraines were still happening so I stopped wearing them as I was growing up.
Opticals have caught my attention as they’ve become a kind of fashionable accessory. I have to admit that I’ve been to a couple of optical shops to check my sight just in case I need to wear opticals -I felt crying eyes, blurry sight-… But ‘luckily’ I don’t need them yet, I just had to have a break from computer screens. Then, I saw Sabrina from AfterDRK wearing those really cool glasses that I’ve come back to the issue.

They’re from Ace&Tate, a Dutch brand that sell online and at pop-up stores (a while ago they were in Berlin!!!) so they can eliminate the third-party markups, middlemen and license margins. The result are prescription lenses at a very affordable price. They use a smart method to know their customers’ diopters… check it out at their website! Talking about their communication now (can’t handle it, sorry!), they’ve a pretty cool brand image, don’t they? Plus, they’re quite active and friendly on Instagram.
Since ‘Lucy’ glasses in Space Oddity color (the glasses on the photo above) are no longer available, and I can always purchase ungraded lenses, here are my favorites from their new collection:
Lucca Malibu Peach glasses
Lucy Electric Lady glasses
Kat Space Oddity sunglasses
What do you think? Would you buy online prescription lenses?
Love to hear from you!
